Wood Supply Concerns Not Addressed

David Ramsay has rejected a request for a Commission to look into the fibre supply in Northwestern Ontario.
Labor groups and Municipal leaders want the Province to take action on the number of layoffs in the forestry industry.
The Natural Resources Minister says he shares the Region’s concerns but he notes it is more complicated than just the Softwood Lumber dispute and he blames external factors.
Ramsay says the Province will be releasing a new wood supply strategy later this Summer.
