Moving Northwestern Ontario’s timber industry forward is
the theme of the 37th Annual Forestry Symposium in Thunder
Bay this Saturday.
Co-ordinator Karen Jackson says the industry gathering
will discuss wood supply strategies, and adding vaule to
wood products.

Key-note speakers include an ecologist, a Ministry Of
Natural Resources Liason Officer, and members of the
forest industry.
The conference is organized by Lakehead University
Forestry Students.
