The Atikokan area is getting federal funding for two projects designed to boost employment opportunities.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP Ken Boshcoff says the Atikokan
Sno-Ho Snowmobile Club will receive 15-thousand dollars to enable three individuals to groom trails.
The Atikokan Sportsmen’s Conservation Club will also receive more than 45-thousand dollars to give six individuals experience in cutting trails and operating various kinds of machinery.
The funding will flow through the Job Creations Partnerships Program.
