After 5 years, the Provincial Government has unveilled
it’s final management plan for the Woodland Caribou
Signature Site.
The site is comprised of Woodland Caribou Provincial
Park, Eagle Snowshoe Conservation Reserve and the
Pipestone Bay-McIntosh enhanced management area.
Park Supervisor Doug Gilmour says the plan allows for
conservation and industrial development.

The site is located north of Kenora, west of Red Lake
and Earfalls, and South of Pikangikum First Nation.
