Woodland Caribou Signature Site #2

The Provincial Government has completed the final

management plan for the Woodland Caribou Signature Site in

Northwestern Ontario.

The plan took over five years to complete, and deals

with the future of the site located north of Kenora, west

of Red Lake and Earfalls, and South of Pikangikum First

Nation.

Provincial Park Supervisor Doug Gilmour says the

signature site includes the Eagle Snowshoe Conservation

Reserve, Woodland Caribou Provincial Park and Pipestone
