The Lake of the Woods District Hopsital is almost
finished a Ministry of Health pilot project dealing with
proper hand washing.
The “Just Clean Your Hands” initiative will be
implemented at hospitals across the province.
Project Coordinator Susan McLeod says staff have happily
taken part in the project the past six months.

An independent source has visited the hospital three
times to observe health care workers hand hygiene
practices. A final report will be released in the near
future.
