A new approach in Dryden to help those who are dealing with complex issues.
Work is underway to establish what is called a provincial “Situation Table”, a multi-agency support strategy.
Dryden Police Inspector Ann Tkachyk says this sort of plan is long overdue.
She says it will help identify situations or people at elevated risks of harm or victimization.
Tkachyk says the team approach could help those who are homeless, living in poverty, or dealing with mental health and addiction issues.
