Worker in Critical Condition After Incident

The Ministry of Labour is investigating an incident from Friday afternoon at Thunder Bay’s Resolute Pulp and Paper Mill.
A man was pinned by a piece of machinery in the finishing area of the pulp and paper plant.
Ministry Spokesperson William Lin says they want to know what lead to a man being trapped by some machinery.
Lin says our inspectors will be on the scene to determine what led to the incident and whether or not there were any workplace health and safety violations.
The company is also looking into the cause of the incident and possible preventative measures.
The man is in critical condition.
