Adrian Chase

In loving memory of Adrian Louis Chase, who passed away on Thursday July 24th, 2014 at Princess Court LTC in Dryden at the age of 77.

Adrian was born on January 20, 1937 in Stenen, Saskatchewan to Emily (Dunford) and Lloyd Chase.
He grew up on a farm in Prairie River, Saskatchewan. Adrian joined the Canadian Air Force and served for five years, he became a welder and then went to St Lawrence College in Cornwall, ON. He came to Dryden in 1972 and worked with the Assessment Office until his retirement in 1995. His area of assessment was mainly Pickle Lake and Sioux Lookout. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and driving the roads. He also love photography. He always had his camera with him on his trips and took numerous pictures. Some he had framed and gave as gifts.
Adrian is survived by his siblings in order of birth; Wilma Houston, of Billingham, Washington, Alan Chase of Tacoma, Washington, Ken (Sara) Chase, of Campbell River, BC, Shirley Cook of Saskatoon, SA, Garnett (Judy) Jones, sister-in-law Alma Chase, brother-in-law Glen Smith of Perth Road, ON, many nieces and nephews and daughter Emma Lee Chase of Toronto. He is predeceased by his parents Emily and Lloyd, stepdad Clarence Jones, and his brother Frank.
There will be no Visitation as cremation has taken place.
As per Adrian’s wishes there will be no Service.
Interment of ashes will be at a later date in the Dryden Cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Dryden Regional Health Centre Room Refurbishing through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3
