He touched the hearts of the Dryden Rotary Club back in late June and now he’s back home.
Montreal’s Jean Beliveau has ended his 11-year walk around the world.
The walk began with a midlife crisis and became a journey of discovery that taught him to appreciate the little things in life.
The 56-year-old former neon-sign salesman walked through 64 countries during his 75,000 kilometre adventure.
His trek ended Sunday when Beliveau returned home to an emotional reunion with his wife, and a 10-year-old daughter he’d met just once before.
Beliveau plans to write a book about his adventures.
