Workplace Safety Insurance Board premium rates are going down by almost 30%.
The decrease in rates are due to start in the New Year.
Charla Robinson is a spokesperson with the Northwestern Ontario Association Chambers of Commerce and she says the move will allow for significant savings for employers.
Robinson says it will help save business owners money in order to re-invest in their business.
It’s lower rates are due to the elimination of the WSIB’s un-funded liability.
