A Dryden Region World War II Military Tribute poster is now available.
The poster includes over 200-photos and 1,000 names of local soldier’s who fought in the conflict.
Joy Auren did all of the research to produce the poster and says she learned a lot.
Auren says regrettably, a lot of our veterans that did serve, are no longer with us.
She notes for the individuals who are still with us, she cherished all of the information and stories that were shared.
Auren adds most of the families are still living in Dryden and she wants to raise the profile of their sacrifices.
Auren says she will continue to add to the poster as more information is collected.
She says she is still missing a number of photos as well as names of veterans.
The posters are only $10 and are available at Novel Ideas and Auto Apple Glass.
