Public help is needed to identify the person responsible for shooting and abandoning a young black bear in the Dryden area.
Conservation officers were notified Monday of a dead black bear on Amesdale Road, a short distance northwest of Richan Road.
An investigation found the bruin was shot and left about 15-metres off Amesdale Road.
