Young Woman Charged In Death Of Elderly Man

A fatality on Shoal Lake #40 First Nation has resulted in second degree murder charges against a 23-year-old woman.
Provincial Police assisted Treaty 3 Police in the investigation into the Tuesday afternoon death.
Emergency personnel arrived to a home and found a deceased male.
He has been identified as 83-year-old James Redsky.
The cause of death hasn’t been released.
Police say Katelyn Skead is in custody and due in court on Friday.
Both the victim and accused are from Shoal Lake #40.
Police continue to investigate.
