Youth Centre to Open at Dryden High School

A safe, supervised destination may soon be available for Dryden youth.
Dryden Neighbourhood Legacy hopes to open a new Youth Centre on December 18th.
Chief of Police Shayne MacKinnon says they have selected Dryden High School as the temporary site.
MacKinnon and Council note the long-term goal is to establish a stand-alone Youth Centre that kids can call their own.
MacKinnon says they continue to seek funding for programming and staff and volunteer support is also needed.
The Centre will be open during the evening Thursday to Saturday.
