Support continues to come in for the Oncology Unit at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
A fundraising barbeque is being held at Wal-Mart from noon until 6 Friday.
It’s being organized by a group of young girls, aged 11-13, who appeared on the CKDR Morning Show Friday.
They stated they wanted to help support a local project, and selected the Oncology Unit because cancer has touched their lives in some way.
The youth started the campaign this Summer with a Lemonade Stand.
They are almost halfway towards their $1,000 goal.
