Yvette Bonthoux age 40, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 4, 2004 in Dryden, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Yvette was born in Dryden on January 9, 1963, and lived her life in the Dryden area. Yvette enjoyed fishing, snow machining, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Yvette will be sadly missed by her mother Adeline Bonthoux, one brother Perry and sister in law Joanne, her grandmother Marie Delorme, and two nieces Jo-Lee and Bailey all of Dryden, Numerous Aunts Eleanore (Ted) Allan, Diane (Gordon) Beckman of Vermilion Bay, Yvonne (Guy) Nault of Waldhof, JoAnn (Robert) Kaouette of Balmertown and Lucille (Fred) Littlefoot of Maine USA. Uncles Robert (Nicki) Delorme and Harold (Karen) Delorme both of Vermilion Bay. Numerous cousins also survive. Yvette was predeceased by her father Romeo in 1985, her brother Larry in 1987, her grandfather Joe Delorme in 1990, and her two cousins Gary Allan and Brendon Hammond. Visitation will be held at the Dryden Community Funeral Home on Thursday January 8, 2004 from 2-8 p.m. with prayers at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Services for the late Yvette Bonthoux will take place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dryden, on January 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Luigi Filippini officiating. Interment will follow at the Dryden Cemetery. In Yvette’s memory, donations may be made to Princess Court, Canadian Diabetic Association or the Huntington Foundation through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
