16-Year Olds Could Vote In Ontario

If a Liberal MPP gets his way, 16-year-olds in Ontario will have the right to vote.

Arthur Potts has put forward a private members bill to lower the voting age from 18.

Potts says many are also involved in the political process, and denying them the right to vote is discouraging.

He adds lowering the voting age will also help increase voter participation.
