The province can expect to generate almost $3-billion in services fees this year.
That comes from a report released by the province’s Financial Accountability Office.
It says 97 different rates changed this year helping to boost revenues by 8%.
The FAO also finds the money collected on services it reviewed was more than what was needed, the exception being vehicle and driver registration fees which increased 12% this year.
Revenue from vehicle registration costs cover about 85% of the cost to deliver the program.
Driver licence fees cover just 28% of costs.
