The 2008 Ministry of Natural Resources fire season gets

underway April 1st.

Information Officer Debbie MacLean says training has

begun and the equipment is ready to go.

McLean notes there should be lots of moisture in the

ground once it thaws, since there is plenty of snow cover.

Q:”…snow.” 24 seconds

The MNR says there are no fires held over from the fall

fire season.

McLean is reminding the public that there is no day
