Provincial Police in Ignace are reporting the death of a young Wisconsin teen.
The 17-year-old from Milwaukee was on a fishing trip on Kukukus Lake.
OPP were notified Tuesday afternoon of an incident where two individuals had been fishing when one of them fell overboard into the water.
Police say the other person on board jumped in the water in an attempt to rescue the individual, but they couldn’t be found.
The OPP’s Emergency Response Team and Canine units finally found the victim the following day.
The angler’s identity was not released by police.
