33 Recommendations In Northern Report

A northern Ontario think tank is supporting a report that outlines some of the policy gaps in the province.

The Northern Policy Institute helped assemble the report by providing input from area residents.

President Charles Cirtwill says it’ll be used during the federal election to bring attention to its 33 recommendations.

Cirtwill says the report will be handed out to all regional candidates as well as the main party leaders.

He says the document largely identified issues that can be addressed in the north from the importance of achieving success in our Aboriginal communities to the lack of essential infrastructure and the difference in labour markets here.
