A routine traffic stop has resulted in drug trafficking charges against a Sioux Lookout man.
Officers pulled over a vehicle on Highway 72 near Sturgeon River Road and an investigation resulted in the seizure of $3,000 worth of morphine pills, a number of electronic devices and paraphernalia indicative of trafficking the drugs.
OPP say 70-year-old Alex Beardy has been released on a promise to appear in court on July 3rd.
