The fight for aboroginal rights conintues to dominate the news.
National Chief of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples Betty-Ann Lavallee and Vice Chief Dwight Dorey are meeting with Canadian Premiers to discuss issues facing those living off reserve.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday in Nova Scotia.
Lavallee says the major issue is better access to education.
She says this will translate to less crime, better housing and an improved standard of living.
