Air Travel Survey Results Released

If you use the Thunder Bay Airport to fly out of the region, you aren’t alone.
A Dryden Development Corporation survey shows that 83% of those questioned fly out of Thunder Bay, while 80% use Winnipeg.
Only 25.5% answered Dryden in the poll.
The DDC received 103-responses from individuals and business travellers.
The survey showed that 95.9% of air travellers don’t fly out of Dryden because the cost of a ticket is too high.
The size of the aircraft, parking, cancelled flights and not having faith in catching connecting flights were other factors.
DDC Chair Ernie Remillard says the purpose of the survey is to determine how air carrier services can be improved and how numbers can be boosted.
