Be prepared for an overall tax increase of 10% in the City of Dryden.
City Manager Joe van Koeverden says the general tax rate will jump 5%, while a loss of assessment for Domtar will end up costing the tax base another 5%.
The City is also carrying a $400,000 deficit from 2011.
Van Koeverden says part of the hike also due to inflation and keeping service levels at the current level.
A hiring freeze will remain in effect and capital spending is being held at a bare minimum.
The budget will be up for a vote next Monday.
