Thunder Bay based Thunder Airlines is calling on the
Kenora Airport to fence their runway, after a deer
collided with a medivac plane on Monday.
President Ken Bittle says they were taking a patient
from Kenora to Winnipeg, when a deer ran in front of the
aircraft, hitting it’s left hand propellor.

The planes engine and propellor had to be removed,
Bittle adds they’re not sure how much the repairs will
cost.
No one was injured in the early morning accident.
