The Alzheimer Society of the Kenora-Rainy River Districts is reaching out to care givers.
The Next Step learning series through the Ontario Telemedicine Network is a weekly session to support caregivers of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia.
Client Service Coordinator Rylee Baird says they are taking a focus on legal issues in the next meeting.
They are held every Tuesday.
Baird says other topics discussed include finances as well as assessing and managing risk.
The learning series is available throughout the region including Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Red Lake.
