Annual Mining Conference In Thunder Bay

The Ontario Prospectors Association is holding their 2013 Mines and Minerals Symposium next week in Thunder Bay.
The theme of this year is “Advancing Towards Production”.
Over a hundred booths and posters will be set up, highlighting the geology of Northwestern Ontario including the Treasury Metals project in the Dryden area and the Rubicon project in Red Lake.
Executive Director Garry Clark says it will be a busy event with 32 speakers over the two days and the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association hosting their annual awards banquet on Tuesday.
The event runs from April 2nd to 3rd at the Valhalla Inn.
The exhibit floor has free admittance to the public on Tuesday from 3-5pm.
