A new fishing tournament for local anglers.
The Kenora Walleye Open is replacing the Minaki Walleye Classic on July 4th and 5th.
Organizer JP Kennedy says the move was warranted due to regulation changes.
However, there is bad news for local anglers as Kennedy notes the tournament is already sold out.
The tournament season starts this weekend in Sioux Lookout with a full field and continues next weekend with the Dryden Walleye Masters.
