Another gold medal performance for the Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team.
The ‘Blue and Gold’ won their second consecutive Tournament on the weekend, this time capturing the K-Town Classic in Kenora.
The Eagles defeated the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints 2-1 in overtime in the Championship game.
Leah Balla scored the winner with seven seconds left in the extra session, while Jess Carter scored in regulation.
Dryden returns to the ice Tuesday for regular season play in Sioux Lookout.
