Area Services Board For Rainy River?

Public meetings will give residents of Rainy River District a chance to speak out about an area services board.
A stage one proposal to create such a board has been formulated and meetings will give residents a voice to vote for or against such an idea.
Critics argue an area services board would be another level of government.
Three meetings are being held simultaneously on Wednesday, May 22nd at 7-PM in Atikokan, Fort Frances and Barwick.
In Atikokan, the meeting will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Meantime, discussions for an area services board are still in the preliminary stage in the Kenora District.
