The long running coal plant soap-opera has taken another twist in
Atikokan.
The Provincial Government has decided to halt closure plans for an
indefinite period of time as part of its new energy strategy.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MPP Bill Mauro says the plan will not only
save jobs in Atikokan but it will also improve the chance of implementing a
new energy policy for the Northwest to help the forest industry.
