Atikokan Mayor NOT happy

The mayor of Atikokan says his town has a far better energy plan than
the $500 million agreement signed last week between Ontario and Manitoba.
Dennis Brown says he’s “very disappointed and bewildered” with the
power deal, and councillors consider it yet another blow to Atikokan’s
economy.
he says the imported power will be more expensive than that produced by
Atikokan’s coal-fired station.
Brown says the deal came as a complete surprise as efforts continue to
try & save the Atikokan GS.
