Award for Two Sioux Lookout Women

Barb Matousek and Wendy MacDonald of Sioux Lookout are the recipients of the Shelia Burnford Builders Award.
The award is for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to publishing, promoting or supporting literature in Northwestern Ontario.
The two women are the Co-Chairs of the Sioux Lookout Literacy Committee.
They have organized events to promote literacy and literature since 2002, including the Sioux Lookout Literacy Festival.
