Rick Hansen Promoting 25th Anniversary Relay

Rick Hansen says he would like to be involved in festivities in Northwestern Ontario when the 25th Man in Motion Anniversary Relay arrives in this area next year.
Speaking to CKDR News, Hansen says he has fond memories of the North.
In fact, Hansen says his favourite two stops on his original trek were China and Thunder Bay.
Hansen says his best friend Terry Fox was with him during the original tour.
The Relay will stop in Dryden on January 12th and 13th.
Hansen can’t say what part of the tour he will be personally involved in but notes he would love a return visit.
It was January 13th, 1987 when over 2,000 people packed the Dryden Arena to welcome the Canadian hero.
