Be Careful With Campfires this Long Weekend

The Minister of Natural Resources is asking local residents to be
extra careful with outdoor fires this long weekend.
There are currently 57-active fires across Northern Ontario with most
of them burning in this Region.
David Ramsay says campers should keep campfires small and must ensure
their fully extinguished before leaving.
There have been nearly 1,100 fires this summer, and 20,000
hectares of land has been consumed.
