6-members of the Big Trout Lake first nation in northern Ontario remain in jail with no date set for an appeal.
The band leaders were jailed for contempt of court and lawyer
Christopher Reid says they want answers from the provincial government.
Big Trout wants to know whether the McGuinty Government will continue to allow mining on traditional land use territory.
Reid says there’s no point pushing for their release because the band leaders will continue to protest and will end up right back in jail.
