Both the federal and Ontario governments are blaming each other for the lack of progress in the proposed Ring of Fire mining development.
Ottawa is saying Ontario isn’t doing its part to make it a priority which infuriates provincial Mines Minister Michael Gravelle who calls that an excuse for the feds to hide their lack of commitment.
Gravelle says he was startled and irritated with federal Natural Resources Minister Greg Rickford saying the province hasn’t made substantial progress on the file.
