Eagles Drop Opener

The Dryden Eagles are behind the eight ball to start the All-Ontario Championship.

The Eagles lost a hard fought, back and forth 3 set affair to the Milton Mustangs Thursday afternoon.

Dryden squandered a 13-8 lead in the first to lose 25-22.

The Eagles bounced back nicely with a 25-18 win on the heels of a high energy set from Alex Lugli as well as a couple of big hits and a game winning block.

Milton jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the final set and rode their power game to a 15-8 win.

Dryden looks to rebound Friday morning at 9 against Midland and they will then face Sacred Heart at noon in what could be a critical game.
