A small fire in a second floor washroom at Dryden High School forced a brief evacuation Thursday morning.
An alert student noticed the fire around 10:30 and pulled the fire alarm.
Principal Kathy McConnachie says students acted fast to evacuate the building.
McConnachie says staff and students stayed at the Centre to avoid the frigid temperatures.
Everyone was allowed back in the school around 11:00.
Dryden Fire and Dryden Police were on scene.
Staff have received at least two names of possible suspects but the investigation is ongoing.
The fire started just as the OFSAA Volleyball game between St. Michael and Timiskaming was getting underway.
