The 35th Sioux Lookout Blueberry Festival opens Friday.
Opening ceremonies and a Farmers Market are scheduled to kick-off the popular Summer event at 12:30 at the Travel Information Centre.
Coordinator Blythe Bailey says the festival continues to grow, noting it started years ago with only 20 events.
Bailey says this year they have 130 scheduled events.
Old favourites will be at the celebration such as pancake breakfasts, a comedy night, trade show and a bocce tournament.
Bailey also says there will be new activities such as outdoor yoga, teddy bear picnic, garden tours, paint nights and a candlelight service.
