A boil water advisory is being issued by the Municipality of Red Lake for residents of Balmertown.
The safety of drinking water in the area cannot be guaranteed due to hydro issues in the area.
The municipality of Red Lake warns residents should be boiling their water that may be ingested.
This includes activities such as brushing teeth, washing fruit, ice cubes and water for pets.
The advisory will remain in effect until a notice of rescind is issued.
