Residents living in the south side of Kenora can drink water directly from their taps again.
A boil water advisory, which was in place all weekend, was
finally lifted this morning.
The City’s Operations manager, Rick Perchuck says they still don’t know why one of their water samples taken last week came back positive for bacterial contamination.
He says testing done over the weekend showed there were no problems with the water quality.
About two thousand people were under the boil water advisory for almost three days.
