The Kenora Police and the O.P.P. are investigating the death of an 18 year old woman in downtown Kenora over the weekend.
Police say the woman was found in an apartment on First Avenue South early Sunday morning.
She was unresponsive at the time and was taken by ambulence to Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
A post-mortem examination took place this morning and police say they will not release the name of the deceased until the autopsy has been completed.
There has still not been any indication whether foul play was involed in the woman’s death.
