The Northwestern Health Unit feels the consequences of the Province
not adopting new rules for water testing of small private water systems
could result in illness or even death.
Spokesperson Bill Limerick says they would embrace the draft
regulations even though it does contain some flaws.
Limerick adds if the regulations are accepted, it would mean the
health unit would need to hire more employees to check the 700-tourist
camps, community halls and churches that are affected.
