Bruce Ramsay Headed To AHL

Dryden’s Bruce Ramsay is headed to the American Hockey League.

Ramsay has been hired as an assistant coach with the Grand Rapids Griffins, the parent club of the Detroit Red Wings.

The 46-year-old has been the head coach of the Tulsa Oilers in the ECHL and Central Hockey League for the past six seasons, compiling a 185-180-35 record in 400 regular season games.

Ramsay is now reunited with head coach Todd Nelson.

The two were on the bench from 2004 to 2006 with the UHL’s Muskegon Fury and they led the team to the Colonial Cup during their first season together.
