The MP for Thunder Bay-Rainy River is pleased with a federal commitment to boost funding for FedNor.
Don Rusnak says an additional $10-million is being invested in the northern economic development program.
Rusnak says the money will help students and young entrepreneurs.
He is also pleased with a $5-billion commitment to help First Nations, including nearly $1.5-billion for child services.
The Tuesday budget also includes investments for high-speed Internet in rural communities.
