New building starts in Dryden continue to drop.
A total of 66 permits, worth an estimated $3.6-million were issued in 2007.
Building activity has been on the decline since 2002 when 130 permits were issued worth an estimated $49-million.
The Building and Planning Office says indications for 2008 show an increase in activity with values jumping back to the $5 to $7-million range.
