An Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for the Dryden-Ignace area.
Environment Canada says extreme wind chills of near -40 have developed and will persist for a few hours Monday.
Wind chills are expected to improve slowly by noon as the temperature rises.
There are no reports of bus cancellations.
